Here's a quick simple excel calculator to compute for how many pail (balde) for your concrete mix ratio calculation.
This computation is for "batching" purposes which is for "one batch" only. Depending on how many bags of cement you have computed using the 1.54 factor then will also be the number of your batches.

Sample:
Class A 1:2:4
- if using measuring box(kahon) you get 1 bag cement + 2 cu.ft sand + 4 cu.ft gravel
- pail equivalent 1 bag cement + 3.50 pails sand + 7 pails gravel
- water cement ratio, adjust to actual workability from 0.40 to 0.60 depending on material condition or if exposed from rain etc. or as per instructions from your Structural Engineer.

For 99% accuracy construct a 1 cu.ft measuring box, fill with sand or gravel and transfer to your 16L pail or any alternative container that can be easily carried towards your one bagger mixer.
